Building networks
THE CHALLENGE:
Rangers work in remote wilderness areas where communication is often difficult. Rangers often feel isolated and alone in the important work they perform.
Only 36% of rangers in Africa have access to an organisation that represents them.

OUR RESPONSE:
The Game Rangers’ Association of Africa promotes the interests of rangers by being the voice of the African ranger and highlighting the day to day challenges rangers face.
We organise digital ranger networks, facilitate ranger to ranger communication and organise networking events.
Providing supportive networks for rangers means they can build morale and share their experiences, specialised knowledge and best practices to ensure an effective community of practice.
