Through the Ranger Welfare and Standards Initiative, GRAA and Tusk aim to bring up to 10,000 rangers onto RangerProtect, improving their welfare standards. |

The Wildlife Ranger Challenge is a global fundraising initiative that supports rangers across Africa through direct financial assistance, equipment and operational support. By mobilising international awareness and funding, the Challenge helps ensure rangers have the resources they need to continue protecting wildlife and natural heritage under increasingly demanding conditions. |

The GRAA is in partnership with the University of Pretoria, South Africa, undertaking long-term research to better understand and reduce injuries among Africa’s rangers. Through this collaboration, evidence-based insights are generated to inform safety protocols, improve working conditions, and strengthen the protection and wellbeing of rangers in the field. |
