OUR RESPONSE:

Rangers need a diverse range of skills to carry out their roles effectively. The Game Rangers' Association of Africa has facilitated the training of more than 1,800 rangers across Africa.

In 2013, the GRAA established a dedicated Ranger Training Bursary Fund, which provides training opportunities on an annual basis. We also provide in-field ranger mentoring sessions focused on building competencies and developing leaders.
